This Nature lodge will make your time & gathering or event feel extra special! We have worked hard to make this space family friendly.

This place is only a short drive to the Gila National Forest.

This lodge is well suited for intimate seminars, retreats, outfitters & special get aways.

We have a fenced yard, pack n play, restaurant style highchairs etc.

We also have a cabin with two bedrooms (the Leggett Cabin). If more space is needed to be added on, please let us know.

The space

The grand opening of our cozy space was at the very end of August! The place came together beautifully, and we look forward to adding as we go! This can be viewed as a cozy camp, or small nature lodge depending on one's view!

This place is conveniently located close to the road. Rent one room or the entire space.

We offer a hearty welcome to hunters, retreats, seminars, families with small children and special occasions.

We are open to weddings and other special gatherings as well!

The place is situated on an authentic working cattle ranch. This space will provide an atmosphere of inspiration in the rugged wilderness. Rich history, geology and nature will surround you, adding layers of meaning to your very special stay.


We have worked to make this space family friendly. We have a fenced yard, pack n play, restaurant style highchairs, changing pad, kids' stainless-steel cups and silverware, step stools for toddlers (for little hand washing), a baby bathtub, outlet covers, a combo locking medicine box, unique wooden toys, etc.

The kitchen is a fine space, equipped with high quality (camp chef) style basics and a sturdy table for memorable kid's crafts, meals, buffets or added space for the cook. The kitchen is equipped with the tools needed to whip out fabulous meals using tools that reflect simple elements; of wood, steel and iron... the collection is being added to all the time.

Premium USDA steaks from our cattle herds and fair-trade coffee will often be in stock and available to purchase from the family business.

We primarily clean with good old-fashioned products such as alcohol, white vinegar, thieves oil etc. so that those with sensitives are not aggravated and because it is simpler and less toxic.

Probably no cell service
No land line 
No internet
No neutral bathrooms in layout (guests must go through bedrooms in order to access the restrooms). Ideas of a future nice outhouse are in the works. Like all aspects in this world there is always room for improvement!
There is limited outside lighting, so consider bringing a high-quality flashlight.
We do not yet have handicap accommodations yet sure hope to add these!

Guest access

The guest grounds include the spacious area that the cabin rests inside of the fenced region. The guests area includes multiple outdoor dining tables. The ranch is primarily a working cattle ranch, so we ask that horses and guests keep inside of the designated guest area. The National Forest serves as a fabulous place to stretch one’s legs out on! Your hostess can provide so much information on the area if needed.

Other things to note

This is a simple yet fabulous space, lacking in modern amenities, such as internet and cell service. A nearby cafe has internet, and the charming town is surprisingly only a short drive away yet is limited. Please plan and pack accordingly, you will be in the wilderness. It is recommended to pack any needed personal items that cannot be easily replaced in remote areas, first aid kit, flashlight and batteries, water bottle, and an open heart, in this fabulously rugged and wild country.

The guest number is listed as 12, but the home can fit more comfortably, if say couples share a queen bed and or kids sleep on pallets.

A great place to get away whether you are looking for a hunting trip or just to get out of the city!
